Work-Design-Based Development

We understand the work first —
then we build

Web, apps, POS, groupware, system integration — whatever we're building, we observe how your business actually works before we start, then design and build on that.
The observation is part of the build. It is not something you buy separately.

What we build

Whatever we’re building, we build it the same way. We look at the work first, then put the system on top.

Website

Website

We turn visitors into inquiries.

More than an introduction: consultation requests, bookings and document requests all run inside the site.

Corporate & professional sites · Landing pages · Multilingual

Web Service

Web Service

We build services with members and data.

Sign-up, permissions, payments and the admin screens — designed and built as a structure the work actually runs on.

Membership · Permissions · Payments · Admin

App

App

We build the tools your team carries with them.

Apps for the field, designed around your workflow and built to see the same data as the web.

iOS · Android · Web app

POS

POS

We put what happens in the store into the system.

Orders, payments, inventory and settlement run as one flow, with the operating screens to manage them.

Orders · Payments · Inventory · Settlement

Groupware

Groupware

We build the place where the company works together.

With PlanQ, tasks, documents, schedules and conversations live in one place — and run exactly as the workflow was designed.

PlanQ · Tasks · Documents · Schedules

Integration

Integration

You don't throw away what you already use.

We keep your existing ERP, accounting and groupware in place and connect them, so no data is entered twice.

ERP · Accounting · API · Dashboard

How we work

Four stages, from observation through to ongoing operations.

STEP 1 — Observe

We observe the work.

Before we build, we watch the real work on site. This observation is part of the build and is not billed separately.

STEP 2 — Design

We design the screens and the flow.

Based on what we observed, we define the screens, data, permissions and integration points. We agree on what will be delivered before anything is built.

STEP 3 — Build

We build it.

Web, app, POS, groupware or integration — we build it and stay until the team is actually using it.

STEP 4 — Operate

We keep running it.

After launch, WOR-PRO Lab takes care of speed, security, updates and backups. The people who built it keep watching it.

How the cost is decided

Instead of a fixed price list, we tell you up front what determines the cost. Send us an inquiry and within 1–2 business days you’ll receive a written quote with scope, timeline and price.

Screens and features - Scope

How many screens we're building, and what they do.

A site with an introduction page and a service with members and payments are two different jobs.

✔ What we look at : Number of screens · Feature list · Whether an admin screen is needed

Systems to connect - Integration

How many of your existing systems we connect to.

The more points we connect to your existing ERP, accounting and groupware, the more design and testing it takes.

✔ What we look at : Systems to connect · Types of data · Real-time or not

Scope of observation - Observation

One workflow, or the whole company.

Pre-build observation is included, but the wider the scope, the longer the timeline.

✔ What we look at : Number of departments · Number of workflows · Who we interview

Build platform - Platform

Web, app or POS.

What we build it on changes the development, testing and deployment work involved.

✔ What we look at : Web · App · POS · Groupware · Integration

Launch date - Schedule

When it needs to go live.

A tight deadline means re-planning people and sequence, which affects the cost.

✔ What we look at : Target launch date · Phased launch or not

Every profession works differently

Two sites can look alike from the outside, but the work that has to run inside them differs by profession.

Legal · Law firms & attorneys

The flow from first consultation to engagement, case status updates, and keeping documents secure are what matter.

Accounting & tax · CPAs & tax advisors

Monthly document collection, closing, and filing-deadline reminders need to run inside the site.

Patent & IP · Patent attorneys & IP firms

Deadline tracking at each filing stage, consultation intake — and multilingual support when filing abroad.

Healthcare · Hospitals & clinics

Appointments, follow-up visit reminders, clear explanations of services, and personal data handling come first.

Other professional services · Labor consultants, administrative agents & appraisers

The site takes over the back-and-forth of applications and paperwork.

Content & media businesses

We design the flow from publishing to subscription, and from subscription to revenue.

Frequently asked questions

“ We just want you to build it. Do we have to start with an audit? ”

No. If you already know what you want built, get in touch right here on this page. Pre-build observation of your work is part of the build and is not something you buy separately. If the way your company works itself needs to be redesigned, we recommend Operating System Design & Audit.

“ Can you build apps too? ”

Yes. Web, apps, POS, groupware and integration with your existing systems are all built the same way. What we build it on is decided after we’ve seen the work.

“ What happens after it's built? ”

It moves into ongoing operations. WOR-PRO Lab takes care of speed, security, updates and backups, and the fees are listed in our hosting plans.
